Need a low-interest loan to bridge the gap while waiting on your Council grant? We can provide you with a Summary Report so you can apply for the Home Energy Upgrade Loan (HEULS). What is the Home Energy Upgrade Loan? (HEULS) The Home Energy Upgrade Loan is a low-interest loan for homeowners who want upgrade the energy efficiency of their home. You must use the loan for home energy upgrades that are also funded by a home energy upgrade grant from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). You can get the loan for the home you live in, or a property you rent out. The loan can be drawn down before you start the work. This removes some of the upfront financial barriers to getting the upgrade works done. Loans are available until 31 December 2026 or until the funding runs out. How much can I borrow? You can borrow between €5,000 and €75,000 per property. You can get loans for up to 3 properties or €225,000 per applicant. Loan terms range from a minimum of one year up to a maximum of 10 years. The loans are unsecured loans. This means that no security or personal guarantee is needed. What are the other terms and conditions? At least 75% of the loan must be used for energy efficiency measures. 25% can be used for non-energy related works, like redecorating your home. The banks participating in the scheme are offering interest rates that start from 3%. How can Premier Solutions help me get started? We can prepare a Summary Report for you to bring to your bank, which you need to apply for the loan. You must be registered on our Home Energy Upgrade Grant Scheme. Insulation Installer job Donegal Job Title: Insulation Installer Location of work: Various locations around Donegal Reports To : Site Supervisor Job Type : Full time / Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (with 2 breaks) Salary: Competitive salary in line with experience Start Date : Immediate About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Insulation Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing rolled attic insulation and pumped cavity wall insulation in residential, community and commercial properties. You will play a key role in improving building energy efficiency, comfort and compliance with SEAI and Irish Building Regulations standards. Key Duties Measure, cut, and fit rolled attic insulation to specified standards. Drill and fill cavity walls with pumped insulation materials. Prepare for foam insulation to rafters and other surfaces. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times, including the wearing of PPE. Maintain detailed records (including photos) of completed work and materials used. Liaise with customers and site supervisors to ensure quality and satisfaction. Skills and Requirements Previous experience of installing insulation is a distinct advantage. Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates would be an advantage. Previous experience in the Construction Sector is desirable. Full clean B driving licence desirable. Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varied weather conditions. Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
